8. My Mother said she's going to watch.
Edited on Sun Apr-20-08 03:01 PM by Turbineguy
She thinks the Pope is a nice guy. She's voting for McCain (I guess that's to give the republicans another chance to kill her Grandson).

She gets her income in Euros and has done rather well under the Bush Administration.

What do you say to somebody like that?

9. Can't say a thing.
Just shake your head and smile I guess.

I have no use for organized religion anymore and I find it creepy that these series of masses have been broadcast live all this week--on NUMEROUS channels. Not just one or two...but fed on channels up and down the dial.

15. You should be more worried about Obama & Hillary kissing up to the evangelicals in this country.
Politics and religion should be kept separate.

18. How often is Billy Graham on TV?
Every year and for a whole week!

And the Evangelicals take up TV time all day Sunday and every weekday morning!

The Pope wasn't on any of my local TV stations, only sports was/is on.

He was on 2 UHF channels though for the Mass in NYC.

One is a Spanish station and one is a sister channel of a local channel.
