I have HBO on demand and think that I'll have a marathon viewing of the whole miniseries tomorrow. :)

1. I've been watching the marathon today
I've really enjoyed it and have to admit I'm sad it's ending. Hope they do more stuff like this in the future.

historical drama (my fave) in the future. One remembered exception. I was not thrilled with their Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee. The book is one of the best books I have ever read in my life, and their dramatization left me cold.

3. I know, I get attached to excellent miniseries myself. I never read the book.
Ever since I started to work on the Internet, I have had reader's block.

10. Now I want to buy it, but I know that I couldn't concentrate enough to read it. Seriously,
you have no idea how this upsets me. I used to read at least 5 books a week, and well written history, my favorite.

11. the last 7 years have been a real reading jackpot for me, the Daily show's "America the book"
Al Franken's books and the new one by Clobert "I am AMerica and so can you" and various other books have kept me very happy.

Paul Giamatti deserves an Oscar for this role.

16. I'm just starting to recover now. Giamatti will win the Emmy as best actor and Laura Linney,
best actress. They were both magnificent! I loved the scene when he was with the painter of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence and says that the real history of the revolution was already lost.
