Just curious (my opinion is yes).

1. Once this damn primary is over, the commentators
will turn their attention to McCain

2. I'd like to believe that, but he's still going to be a former POW. n/t

3. He is also a man with a dangerous temper who cheated on and then divorced
his first wife, so he could marry into money. McCain has tons of skeletons in that closet of his.

4. I totally agree that we should be pointing that out - I'm just saying that our representatives in
the media seem disinclined to do so.

5. He is very popular with the press, so it's going to be tough
to educated the public as to the man's true nature.

6. Can I Get A Better Definition...
What constitutes a "liberal commentator". Is this confined to those on AAR/NovaM/Jones radio or are we including the stenographer class (which I would hestitate to call liberal in the least).

7. Well it would include those who are invited to participate in public forums
representing the liberal point of view, I guess.

8. Hmmm...Interesting
We could probably agree that there are few forums, except those sponsored by liberal or progressive organizations, that offer much of a liberal view. I would imagine this "elite" class (and said in a good way) would include Rachel Maddow and a few of the "regular" talking heads like Kristina Van Den Huevel and Larry O'Donnell but I can't think of many more that fit that definition.

I was just curious if you'd include folks like Bill Moyers, Amy Goodman and Joe Connason in this forum...or expand it out to include the likes of a Carville or Beinart. Again...just curious for a ruling here.

Cheers...

9. Id probably favor a wider rather than a narrower net.
But i'm a moderate Democrat - so I would naturally want to give them a voice at the table as well.

That said there are two overlapping groups here - those that we as the left embrace as our spokesmen and those that the media heads select as our spokesmen. In some cases they are the same - Krugman has an article at the Times for example, but in other cases they are different.
