Are there any good children's news websites?
I am looking for online news for my eight year old to read. Nothing horribly serious, just general news stuff, but written with kids in mind. Maybe extra pages of cartoons, science news, health news, word games.

Maybe I should do my own.

1. Scholastic has a great weekly newsletter
Maybe it is online?

There is also Newsweek for kids and Time for kids.
