i need to take time out from worrying about the dead and dying in iraq, the millions without healthcare in the US who are left to suffer and die and all the starving people around the globe so i can focus all my concern for that great humanitarian, tony snow. all those other problems (many caused by tony's political party and supported by him) pale in comparison to tony's struggle right now so i can't waste another minute of grief on those unimportant matters. i must focus on tony and his struggle.

hope you beat this thing, tony, and live a long life. i know my feelings will echo throughout DU. we want you around for a long time so you can continue to help the corporate fascists by spreading that special propaganda the way only you can. there still seems to be a few people on the globe whose lives haven't been totally ruined by corporate takeover and war and if there's anything that should keep your spirits alive it's the hope that you'll get a chance to ruin the lives of those last few happy people. it's worth living for, tony. we hope you pull through.

and just because i wouldn't be comfortable with comforting the person or family of the person that murdered my family doesn't mean i'm not as good as some quaker who does that.

you see the absurd praise of a dying repub who was loathed here when he was healthy as being in touch with humanity. many here see it as posturing. maybe neither is true. maybe both are true.

you and i don't see eye to eye on everything. we're still on the same side...that's all that matters.
