4. maybe they know but they simply cannot bring themselves to vote for McCain.
the old protest vote. Or it's possible that 26,254 is part of the 22% of Americans who still think Bush poops rainbows.

2. What does this say about McCain's chances?
Essentially, 28% of Republicans don't support him even though he is the nominee.

3. 28% in PA which is an area where McCain should be pretty strong.
I could see Huckabee pulling some votes from him down south, but damn.

That's gotta be chilling for the McCain campaign.

27% of the vote to people not even in the race. If we can't beat McCain, there's no hope for us.

10. Maybe you can help me with this (hope you're in PA)
How is it that CNN has more votes counted than the actual state site? I've been trying to figure this out all evening. It may have been true in past and I never even caught it? But how does that work?

14. I'm honestly worried some of them will start voting from the roof-tops soon.

I've seen the "cult" label get tossed around a lot in GD: P, but absolutely nothing from the Obama camp (or, hell, the Clinton camp) could match their devotion.

16. I go by LiveLeak...
Once or twice a week. Invariably, there are triumphalist posts from Paul supporters there. To hear them tell it, Paul is on the verge of running away with the nom. I mean it is simply some of the most reality-challenged stuff ever seen on teh intertubes.

I mean, enthusiasm is nice, but don't go off your meds.

17. Are they as bad as the Paulistas on Digg?
Rumor has it that Digg actually changed the rules governing which articles appear on the front-page (I think, though I know they did make a big change) specifically because people couldn't go a day with out at least 20 Ron Paul articles on the front-page.

18. That is interesting.
My experience with Digg is that there is a great number of right wingers over there, including the owners and they really give a rough time to left-leaning websites. I would have expected they would have changed the name of the place to "Ron".

19. Oh God, that would have made sense.
It truly became truly unreadable sometime late last fall, and didn't start to become tolerable until those changes.

15. I know McCain is the candidate by now, but it's still kind of sad that our "second place" candidate
can beat all three of their guys together.
