I flew across the country with Waters in the seat behind me and talked with him most of the way. Lovely man, very friendly and warm. I made sure to note the moustache. It is real and a marvel of the arts and sciences of moustache trimming.

I studiously avoided any and all references to poodle-generated Tootsie Rolls. I figured he had heard enough about that for one lifetime.
