ANGRY PERSON ! : Keith drank the Koolaid
Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 10:03 PM by annm4peace
Why Doesn't Keith Olberman cover today's hearing on Treasonous KBR ?

I came home and couldn't believe KO was focused on Rev Wright and Obama.. Yet when I flipped the channel to Cspan and Cspan 2 there was something the public should be more aware of.

Yet when I turn on CSPAN 1, and flip between WAR and Decision with the treasonous Paul Wolfowitz and Douglas Feith.
http://inside.c-spanarchives.org:8080/cspan/cspan.csp?command=dprogram&record=563772154

and then on CSPAN 2 Contracting Abuses in Iraq with KBR Whistleblowers. which include accounts of KPR employees not screen for TB and Hepatitis cooking and serving he troops food. Also proving the troops with dirty water that has parasites in it. KBR shorting equipment with parts, KBR looting equipment, flak jackets, etc. Iraqis would take stuff from KBR trash and used it to make weapons and the rockets. It just makes you sick. I have seen Iraq for Sale and watched other hearings.. and this still makes me sick.

And what is Keith and his people talking about. A black Rev talking about a black church.
Give me a freaking break. Is America still stuck on Stupid

KO, and other progressive should be talking about this hearing and also of the WAR and Decision.
Basically they should be talking all the investigating hearings.
That is going to be what makes people decide who we should vote for.. Not Rev Wright's speech.
Why doesn't Rev. Wright have Freedom of Speech !!!!
I watched Bill Moyers and Rev Wright, Rev Wright at DETROIT NAACP, and the Rev Wright and Press Club. I have NOOOOOOOOOO problem with Rev Wright. He speaks said alot of things that made sense to me and I'm a white female in my 40's.

1. Yea I was really dissapointed in Keith for jumping on the
bandwagon.

Whether it was ego or the Freedom of Speech to speak out as an American, he still has the right to speak

Too bad Keith you blew it on this one.

3. I can't find KO's contact to email him a scathing email !!!!
Damn I'm pissed !!!!

Rev Wright had a standing ovation before he even started !!!!!!! at the press club..

so why didn't KO interview them, they didn't seem to have a problem.

5. his coverage of the primaries in general deflects from coverage of other real news
the two-minute 'Bushed' segment could easily consume an entire show -- instead we get the silly latest from the campaign chattering classes that are repeated all day long

4. My goodness. He wasn't ass kissing Barry today?
And look how well you're taking it!

No cult of personality there, is there?

And, really, for a woman to admit sycophantic behavior regarding a man is NOT a surprise to the world.

After all, look at the polygamous ladies.

Has even one of them stood up for those raped teenagers?

6. The War Is Sooooooo Boring...
I, too was disappointed with KO's following the pack in jumping all over the Wright story, but then that's what's sizzling in the fishbowl world he lives and works in. It was the first thing he probably heard when he woke up, kept hearing about all day as he was writing, editing and rehearsing and felt compelled to go with the flow once his turn came. It was getting caught up in the soundbites and the ensuing media shit storm that he wasn't able to see through...and that's a shame.

America's stuck on a lot of things...Stupid tops the list, but racism isn't too far behind. The corporate media has painted Wright as an evil, sinister figure...a Svenghali that lurks under the interior of Barak Obama. It opens up the door for racists to attack and spew venom and then claim that their attacks on Wright and Obama are purely political. That's total bullshit!

Wright tweeked the corporate media...he refused to bow down to it and this just pissed them off further.
