7 Shot In 3 Days On Same Orlando Street Block
Shootings Involved 5 Different Incidents


ORLANDO, Fla. -- A bloody weekend in which five people were shot on the same street block in Parramore continued Monday when two store employees were shot and injured inside a grocery store, according to police.

Seven shooting victims in five different incidents were reported in about 72 hours in the 700 block of Parramore.

Several of the motives were robbery, police said. However, some incidents included people who just walked up and shot people.

The latest shooting happened at Young Foods Store, located at 707 S. Parramore Ave., at about 3:10 p.m.

"It's frustrating to see the poverty that contributes toward the crime," said Joseph Ture, who owns the store next to Young Foods Store. "You mix poverty with drugs and stuff like that, and this is what you get."
