Bush hits all-time low on handling of the economy.»

In a NBC/WSJ poll to be released tomorrow, “only 21% approve of President Bush’s job in handling the economy — his lowest number ever as president on that question.” Additionally, the poll found that 81% of Americans “believe the US is currently in a recession.”...http://thinkprogress.org/2008/04/29/bush-hits-all-time-low-on-handling-of-the-economy/

2. How funny, considering his disastrous handling of the economy started in 2001
Why does it take people so long to notice that massive amounts of deficit spending, a horribly profligate endless war in the middle east which disrupts oil supplies, tax cuts for the rich and low interest rates that encourage indebtedness and discourage saving and weaken the dollar, all while continuing to export our jobs and manufacturing overseas are going to hurt the economy?

Did anyone actually think this crap would translate into long-term economic benefits?

6. Why is he still even in office?
When I was pushing with other DU'ers and activists to get Nancy Pelosi installed as Speaker, I had no idea how disappointing she would be. There is no reason, between the war, the economy, and the Bush administration's MANY miscarriages of justice, for "impeachment to be off the table."
