Cancelling the 18 cent gas tax will net Americans who consume 15 gallons of gas per week a total of $21.60 this summer.

And for that, we are going to let the infrastructure fall apart. You can't even pay for most perscriptions with your savings. Did you really need one more pizza? Why do we let John McCain drive our party as well?

Cancelling the tax for two months is a dumb idea, and yes, thank you Barack Obama for not pandering.

18 cents will be wiped out in less than a month. So whose saving? And then when the tax is restored, the price will soar. And who will pay the price? In the meantime money that goes to construction jobs will put more people on the unemployment line.

Yes...it's pandering that doesn't address a problem, only plays cheap politics with it.
