Your WTF story for today: Pit bull attacks pony at day care

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A pit bull dog attacked a pony Wednesday on a midtown playground.

It happened at a daycare at 4329 Troost in Kansas City, Missouri just before noon. A worker at the daycare says the children had just finished riding the pony and were inside the daycare when the attack occurred.

The pony was grazing in the back yard of the facility when the dog jumped a fence and attacked. The pony suffered minor injuries.

Kansas City Animal Control officers took the dog into custody

I dont particularly care for pit bulls becuase in a unlimited number of cases, they are used as attack dogs, to intimidate other people, or just owned by guys who are trying to appear like a total hardass. But I do know some people who live close by that have three of them, and so far they are very very friendly dogs. They can kinda rough when they play otherwise they're pretty nice dogs. I would never own any dog of this breed, I'll stick to labs. I may get another dog soon, I'm kinda intersted in a Border Collie.
