3. And They're Probably Still Making Money

The station has no local programming...just sits and runs off a satellite and computer now...and is a lot more "cost effective" for a Cheap Channel to bring in obnoxious sports programming (that is easily sold to gambling casinos and men's penis enhancement products) compared to a talk format that requires hiring real talent and a staff.

Yep, Cheap Channel are idiots...the company's squandered billions on worthless radio stations and made them even more worthless. Deregulation at its finest.

Sadly, the Chicago AAR station has dirt poor ratings, too...but that's for other reasons.

2. I'm THRILLED to hear this! I used to listen to that station on the net

all the time, and the local people contacted the station begging them not to change. I hope the owners lose their shits over this boneheaded move!

The station that flipped from Progressive talk had #s so low they couldn't
count 'em. Now we have progressive radio back ... :bounce:
