1. ROPE AROUND MCCAIN'S CAMPAIGN: BUSH KNOT, BASRA NOOSE!
Next to Bush and his general, Petraeus, Nixon and Abrams seem like a paragon of truth since they said it as it was, never "mission accomplished." The extend of US *TROOPS* involvement in Basra

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/29/AR2008042900560_pf.html

is court room evidence that the "surge" was totally American, at the expense of our troops. There seem not to be enough Iraqis willing to die so Maliki can take control of the nozzle of Iraq's gasoline hose located in Basra. And so, we shed our kids' blood to forcefully steal the nozzle-- after all, he who holds hose and gun gets to keep the contents. Meanwhile, 40 US oil companies are signed up for the American takeover as "free enterprise" (emphasis on "free") of Iraq's 80% oil resources down in Basra. As Maliki fades away, Iraqis can add to their shame of occupation the Americanization by force of Basra's oil.

I was fully behind the Vietnam War because its goal was noble: national independence and sovereign security for SE Asia, free of global Communism. But Iraq is nothing but replacing the British imperialists with the American oilists.

Bush doesn't seem to care, even though, while most draftees in Vietnam were young single men, not moms and dads (50% Reservists up to 56 years old) are forced into repeated tours, leaving behind widows and orphans. I knew LBJ and Nixon. Both were eating their hearts out over Vietnam casualties. This president is a spoiled brat politician who evaded the draft and so can't appreciate the burden of combat; without a war strategy he doesn't deserve the title "Commander-in-Chief." Crocodile tears at posthumous medal awards to widows and orphans will not hide the reckless way in which a VOLUNTEER army is sent helter-skelter to fight and die to fill-er-up our SUVs and the careless way the bereaved and the wounded are abandoned as veterans. How many of you know how many had cuts in promised services? If you don't you are as unpatriotic as the uncaring political tactician without any strategy we call "president" that wastes the last of America's heroes. How else can one interpret the fact that 50% of the volunteers for the Marine Corps today needed a moral waiver?....Before answering think about the announcement by Latino gang leaders in LA that they want their gang members to join the Marines and fight in Iraq so they can have training for their gang wars with other criminals and the police. Bush will be remembered as the last American NERO-- not hero-- who fiddled while America's wealth and heroes burned...You silence makes every one of you a co-Bush!
