Did you ever wish that days would pass quickly so that your
comment made on DU would finally go to never-never land? OK, so the post could be found on a search but no-one would bother.

We've all made "our opinion" comments and been chewed out by others here. Geeze, short fuses.

Seems to be the Lounge and both GD categories in most instances. Guess I'll take a rest from there for a while, lots of fun elsewhere, like the Cooking Group, or the DIY group. Good folks there too and they actually will have a conversation with you and everyone else, not a shout-out.

1. I know that I responded to a comment of yours
yesterday. I was already raw from what I was reading. Honestly you touched a nerve, but I did try to explain myself and not attack. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings in anyway because I know that I do not like a shout out either.

3. Thank you for commenting. When I posted yesterday, I
was commenting on my thoughts regarding the brand-new car, and a very expensive one at that, not about food stamps. The stamps fill a very real need.
The SUV, so very new, struck me as out of balance with the use of the stamps. My intent was not to insult anyone and If I did, I am sorry.
Perhaps you and others were right, maybe the car was someone Else's.
From now on, I will make no more judgmental comments.

2. I picked the winner in an informal Kentucky Derby poll yesterday,
and was so busy bragging about it, I didn't know about the tragic aftermath. Here I was, putting a "whoo-Hoo" smily in my post, while they had to put a horse down. I wasn't chewed out (thankfully) but still felt damn foolish.
