for doing what you do under the most difficult circumstances! Those of you still out there doing this job are real hero's. I quit long before things got this bad and as much as I miss it I can't imagine doing what you all are doing now under these circumstances.

Have a wonderful day all of you out there. You truly are the people that health care relies on. Without you there would be no health care.

:applause:

My hospital used to give us each a shiny, red apple on this day. I never knew if I should be offended about that or just sigh and go on. My husband got 5 figure bonuses as if the Docs really needed the money and we got apples. You all deserve castles to live in and enough money to never, ever have to pull those back breaking double shifts.

6. Man, do I appreciate (some) nurses
The Kind, thoughtful ones are angels.
The cranky one who couldn't care less need to find another job.

Yes I know it's a demanding job, but there is no reason to ignore a patient who needs help, none.

I've had both, and can't say enough good things about the good ones.

Thank you nurses, you do a thankless job and deserve more from us...

Dave
