Olbermann kidded Maddow about last night's disagreement...
Edited on Wed May-07-08 10:04 PM by rusty quoin
between the two. He introduced her and said, "who was wrong for the first time." I watched it here:

Also, Olbermann's tie is like a candy cane.

The two are great together.

2. Two informed great minds without a need to upstage the other. It's a joy to see them.

3. I think Rachel Maddow might have the most attractive smile/laugh I've ever seen.
Sharp lady.

4. That was a pretty funny exchange.
I paraphrase Keith: "You are wrong Rachel and I agree with Pat." Than he rings his bell.

6. Well I'm having a disagreement with Rachel myself
She said that though Obama "weathered" Rev. Wright, it did seem to "knock him off his stride" and "suck the energy out of him." Maybe "personal messy mudslinging stuff" was the way for McCain to go because he didn't seem to have an "appetite" for it." For example, Obama's "not trying to shove Hillary out of the race," so "maybe he doesn't want to fight on those grounds."

There is such a thing as fighting WITHOUT fighting: why make a spectacle of shoving Hillary aside when all Obama has to do is call out enough superdelegates to make him the presumptive nominee? That way, he gets the results he wants, and neither Hillary nor her supporters (whose votes he needs) aren't publicly humilitated. And I think we're going to see a much more aggressive Obama once he can fully set his sights on McCain, if only because there's not too much McCain can hit him with that can't be responded to in kind: Rev. Wright? Nope. Fiscal impropriety? Nope. Obama can even link McCain's experience to "a third Bush term" and "old politics." At any rate, Obama won't have to worry about making McCain cry or treating him "like a lady!"
