3. "Faith-Based Initiatives" need to be eliminated IMMEDIATELY.

I have a real problem with tax money going to any religious group and their wacked-out ideas of "charity" or "treatment"

We also need single-payer, not-for-profit health care.

Total withdrawal from Iraq and 25% reduction in Pentagon spending

A program to reindustrialize America and get us out of bad trade agreements.

Minimum wage needs to be indexed to rise annually in accordance with the price of food and housing.

Bring back the Kennedy-era tax brackets with the income amounts adjusted upward for inflation.

back to functioning agencies with Civil Service employees. Privatized Bush boxes are a failure and corrupt. There is little over sight and a lot of cronyism.

Highways, bridges, anything government-owned structure-wise. Air Traffic Control systems, power transmission lines (largely privately owned, but should be taken over to prevent catastrophic failure and rampant profiteering).

To me, this is the ultimate fix -- without a chance to win fair elections, you can't even get to the other items.

Oh, and how about reinstating the Fairness Doctrine so that we truly have an unbiased media that will perform its role as a watchdog of government, and not act as their craven pawns?
