2. Nope, not mailing a card this year!

I'm hand-delivering it, along with a Yankee candle, some kick-ass smoked salmon (for use on bagels) and, most importantly, a WaWa gift card for gas!

3. I wish I could send a Card to my Mom

but I don't know what the postage is to heaven. My Mother In Law died early in April so this isn't the best Mother's Day for My wife and me. It seems every other ad on TV is about Mother's Day.

HOWEVER, Happy Mother's Day to all Mom's out there. Not a day goes by that I don't have positive thoughts about my Mom and Mom-in-Law.

4. It's been a sad day for me for 5 years now

doubly sad because her birthday is around the same time.

5. My Mom's

Birthday is May Third. She died in 66 at age 39. I actually appreciate Mother's Day because it gives me the opportunity to chat with her and wish her well. So many wonderful thoughts in the short time we were together. Also, My Birthday falls on Mother's Day about every seven years, although I wasn't born on Mother's Day. Think through all your happy times together. Those will never go away.

6. My friend in Australia

attaches a note to a balloon and air mails it to her mum. I will be doing the same this year.

7. My Mom is passed but I'll send an e-card to my sister.... and

My oldest son's B-day falls on Mother's Day this year! :D
