1. Entrapment is bad
But, try working for years to get to the point where you can write something worth publishing. Then go through the rounds and rounds of rejections. Then you finally get a book published by an e-pub and you find your flesh and blood on a filesharing site where people can steal it.

I'm not going to cry any salty tears pitying filesharers. It's theft. Period.

2. So you are aware that you are entering a very volitile market.
When your product is information. You have to guard that product feircely. Technically when you read a tabliod in the check out line without paying for it. You have stolen from the publisher and author.

6. Actually, reading something and putting it back isn't copyright violation
To violate a copyright, you have to copy the item. If I buy a book, read it, and give it to you, that's perfectly legitimate. That copy of the book is the buyers property to dispose of as he/she sees fit. What's illegal is to make a copy of the book and give you that copy.

Filesharing sites sell multiple copies of the material. The original remains on the site while a large number of people make copies of it for their own use.

No one in his/her right mind is upset about a few readers getting a freebie. In fact, I send out free copies of my stories all the time. It's good business to create good will. What's awful are sites that make large numbers of copies. That can cut into your sales. It's doubly infuriating when the site makes money off the deal and I get zip on it.

7. No, but it constitute a theft of intellectual property. Your getting the story without paying.
The teasers are on the cover. You have to buy it to go beyond whats on the cover.

4. Let me know when there is a transcript -- too much tech talk for the first few minutes.

Or what that the interesting part?
