Thought you guys might want to see some pics of the blessed event at Crawford
:)

Protesters from Topeka, Kansas, hold signs as a bus with guests drives to the wedding of President George W. Bush's daughter, Jenna Bush and her fiance, Henry Hager, in Crawford, Texas, May 10, 2008. Bush and Hager are scheduled to wed this evening at Bush's Central Texas ranch.

In a welcome break from two wars, terrorism and soaring oil prices, US President George W. Bush celebrated his daughter Jenna's wedding on his Texas ranch.

4. I am a Camp Casey regular and we chose to not protest the wedding
It is the first time since we first got together nearly 3 years ago that we didn't plan a protest when Bush was in Crawford.

And I am proud of that decision today. I think Jenna is a twit but even twits deserve to have nice weddings.

14. Thanks for the moratorium
Classy choice. The contrast between you and Phelps' zombie army couldn't be starker.

I don't know why unless they believe someone is gay there. I have my bets on the Prez himself.

9. It was a lively discussion about protesting
Many of the regulars wanted very much to protest. But about the time we heard Phelps was going to be there, we agreed we didn't want to share the stage with him and his crazy family.

of the creatures' bills, I believe you're correct! I just looked at the markings and they looked like common mallards or something.

31. No problem, we all make mistakes in fowl-identification sometimes...
The white markings on the head and the proportion of head-to-body gave 'em away for me. But then again, I grew up the things, even had one as a pet for a while.

3. That house with the veiled geese
is the same one that had a sign in 2005 when Cindy Sheehan was right down the road. I can't find the picture but the sign said something like:

OUR SON IS A POLICE OFFICER
WE SUPPORT PRESIDENT BUSH

My dear sweet mother, when she saw my picture, said she might put a sign in her yard that says

MY DAUGHTER IS A TEACHER
AND I THINK GEORGE BUSH IS AN IDIOT

Oh how I miss my mom, especially today. Thanks for reminding me of her wonderful sense of humor :)

38. Reading the family photo, from left...
Barbara just heard some Great News: she's taking part in a Rite of Passage on Monday--she's going to get her first Valium prescription!

It's a good thing Laura isn't very big; you're only allowed to cut just so much out of the White House curtains before the Architect of the Capitol has your ass. Otherwise, it's the same old Laura: bulletproof hairstyle, Joker-face makeup, just...yuck.

We can see from the look on Shrub's face that he attended Henry's bachelor party last night. Come on, it's only about 650 miles from the pig farm to Juarez. That's what, a five-hour drive if there aren't any cops around? However, reports that Shrub was seen exiting a donkey show are completely misguided. There's no possible way George Bush would ever be seen coming out of a donkey show. He carries a Bill Clinton mask for that.

Jenna is the only naturally relaxed one in the bunch, and for good reason: "I wonder if I remembered to tell Dad I'm endorsing Obama on Tuesday."

17. It looks to me like Jenna is trying to turn away from the camera...
...or is trying to hide her father or both. It's like she's saying "I'm not a part of this picture or my dad isn't. Either will suffice." Or maybe she's just trying to show how her ass looks in the dress.
