1. I love it, I can't wait to kick liddy to the curb,
she is as bad as they come. She is nothing more than a talking point.

Go, Kay Hagan!!!

3. I am doing my little bit
been talking with my Registered Republican Cousin in a very red county about the coming election. She is fed up with the way things are and is in the "toss all the bums out" mindset. So I think in the GE I may convince her to vote Dem. It's one or two votes (her's and husband), but I guess they all count.

4. I wrote Senator Dole several times on legislation I thought she might be

willing to consider -- no anti-war or universal health care proposals so dear to my own heart-- thinking that might the best way to approach her.
I got no response whatsoever. Then suddenly I appeared on her list of potential contributers to her Republican senatorial fund.

As bad as Jesse Helms was, he always answered his mail and did what he could to help North Carolinians, regardless of party, with problems they were having with the federal bureaucracy. I guess that's what you would call being a politician.

Our other U.S. Senator is perhaps even more right-wing, but he does answer his mail and at least give the impression of trying to represent his constituents.

Dole has always acted as though she were entitled to her senate seat. Even if she were one of ours, she would deserve to be booted out for such an attitude. I'm glad she's not, and I hope she will be in November.

We may not be able to carry North Carolina for Obama; but the chance of giving Lidda the boot would do much to raise all our spirits for the fall campaign.

7. I'm hoping for some slippery coat tails...I am so sick of her as my Senator.
She is a veritable albatross.
