The president's 31 percent approval rating is the lowest of his career in Post-ABC polls, and represents the 38th consecutive month his approval rating has been under 50 percent. At the same time, the percentage of Americans with a gloomy outlook about the country in the new poll has jumped to within a point of its June 1992 high: 82 percent now think things in the United States have veered pretty seriously off on the wrong track.

Why isn't that SOB in jail yet?

7. Yeah ABC is very friendly to this administration
so you can bet that the actual number is probably HALF of what they are reporting.

But he failed so miserably they had to back out of the deal.

21. ABC/WP is always higher than the rest. Their 31%
is NYT's 25-27%

8. When not elected, not accountable, and having seized control of all levers of power, no wonder
junior and darth give not a flying f*ck what we the people think, not now or a year ago should they have elected to declare martial law and have no thoughts of leaving? :D

9. Funny how his approval can't quite hit Tricky Dick's...
Nixon was in the mid-low 20s for several months when he finally quit. Even though Bush's disapproval numbers are higher than Nixon's, clearly, there is a segment of the population that feels it's gotta get Chimpy's back no matter what.

But even those folks keep on slipping away, bit by bit.

Still I tend to doubt we'll get a poll-of-poll approval average quite down to the mid-low 20s before the fucker finally leaves the White House. Says something about the gullibility of a frighteningly large number of American citizens, doesn't it?

11. BushCo and the goppers have learned how to manipulate ...

polls and elections since Y2K. That explains why they are in office today. The only reason Shit-for-Brains doesn't appear quite as bad as Millhouse is because of their social engineering efforts.
