BONITA BEACH, Fla. -- A Florida man is suing after he was ticketed on a beach for wearing a Speedo bathing suit.



Bob Hezzelwood said he has been visiting Bonita Beach for years and no one has bothered or complained about his bathing suit.

However, recently, a Lee County sheriff's deputy gave Hezzelwood a ticket for trespass and told him not to return to the beach.

A judge tossed out the case.

However, Hezzelwood said he plans to sue the sheriff's department, saying his civil rights were violated

7. Actually the story is that his speedo wasn't covering all

of his anatomy. The judge tossed the case out because the beach wasn't actually in county that the cop worked for so it was out of his jurisdiction. Wear a speedo, fine but get one that fits.

All I saw was photos of his face and one from far back, that you can see just a small part of his anatomy. There was nothing there that showed me the speedo didn't fit.
