What is the GOP brand?
Mike Huckabee was on MSNBC just now talking about the most recent loss for his party.

He said something like republicans needing to distance themselves from the party, not just Bush.

LOL.

How would you define the GOP?

Use one incident or an individual and explain why you think it best represents the lying corrupt bastards.

I'll go first: Tom DeLay. A failure as a legislator, indicted and still sliming around. My second pick would be Newt Gingrich.

Ok, now DU, your turn.

The brand died during summer of 05
Cindy Sheehan, Katrina and Iraq. They are fucked.
Imagine they control all of M$M and no one is buying their crap anymore. It is over.

17. You'd think.
But, didn't Dumbya say out oloud that the Myanmar junta is not responding quickly enough to the cyclone?

As if he has room to talk! As if his own failure of a response to Katrina was not worse!

The GOP sheep will believe what they're told to believe and they will do it without question.

Their "brand" is characterized by hatred; for people different than them;
for gay people; people in any other country that "talks funny". By intolerence of non-Christian people. And by hypocrisy - no detail needed.

2. KKKarl Rove
The mere sight of him makes me want puke. The dirty tricks and dirty deals that he has inflicted on America makes him a traitor as far as I am concerned. I want him to rot in jail and then burn in hell.

Perfect example of the GOP way. They break the rules that they count on and demand that the rest of us follow.

6. I think you got it.
This is the first thing that comes to my mind as well. All of their ugly characteristics boil down to basic greed.

10. Same old crap in a brand new wrapper
We don't have to guess what it is, according to this they are getting ready to let us know themselves. Doesn't look like much of a threat to me.

15. Same crap, new wrapper...
...your subject line says it all.

But, these are republicans, they have their own network (FOX).

They may not be able to fool us, but they will fool their loyal viewers.

Just like when they changed Darrins on Bewitched.
The GOP sheep won't even know there was a change, all they want is to have their fragile hatred validated.
