1. I'm Lovin' It...
The corporate media ignored this story last night, but kudos to C-Spin for seeing this as a main topic.

Today could be fun to watch Boner try to spin this loss. Will he cry? Tom Cole's all but toast.

I'm amazed how well the 50-state strategy has worked, but having the GOOP implode sure was a nice help...the real boooosh "legacy".

Methinks Huggy Bear better look at this result...may need to change his Grampers.

:bounce:

4. These Callers Are Hilarious
I can remember when the show used to have "Support Pres. boooosh" lines and half the calls on the Democratic lines usually started with "I used to be a Democrat...". How this worm has turned.

I was out in IL-14 and saw that red district go blue and the disgust in that area with the national party. For any chance of winning Gramps needs the same number of people booosh had in '04 and more...especially if Obama is the candidate. Record Democratic turn out in the primaries isn't gonna vanish in November. I haven't seen a poll with Gramps over 45%...and the House & Senate races will be a bigger drag.

By no means is this election won...there's a lot of hard work ahead, but so far so good...

:hi:

Cheers...

<snip>
Mississippi Democrat Travis Childers won a special election to Congress on Tuesday, helping his party to a third victory in recent months for seats long in Republican hands.

Childers defeated Republican Greg Davis by 4 percentage points in a special election to fill the final few months of a two-year term in Congress. The seat was vacated when Roger Wicker was appointed to the U.S. Senate after Trent Lott resigned.

The race had attracted national attention, with Vice President Dick Cheney campaigning for Davis on Monday, and Davis running ads trying to tie Childers to Democratic presidential contender Sen. Barack Obama.-

Rethug bawling -says the legacy of Bush is Obama. Poor asshole.

8. Ginny Brown-Waite Looks Shell-Shocked
Looks likes she's onboard for the Webb bill...also for capping the petroleum reserve. I know she's a "moderate", but I find it interesting that she's being put out there today...looking very sheepish and defensive.
