School Investigates Porn Allegedly Shown in Class
School Investigates Porn Allegedly Shown in Class

FAIRFIELD, CA - School administrators are investigating an art teacher at Armijo High School who allegedly flashed a pornographic picture on the screen during class yesterday.

The incident happened during a project in a computer graphic arts class Monday morning, according to several students. The impression was the image was accidentally projected during a lesson on how to use Adobe Photoshop. As the image remained on the screen four to five seconds, several students say it sent the teacher scrambling to quickly take it off the screen.

"He was just clicking on random files, all of a sudden this big image of literally gay porn shows up," said freshman Chris Matthews. "And he's going crazy, looking. Just that by that reaction that shows that he didn't expect it."

Matthews was one of two students who say they went to the principal to report what happened.

1. "an art teacher at Armijo High School"
I think we can safely conclude that was his gay porn.

9. It has been my own personal experience from attending an arts focused high school...

that a significant number of men interested in the arts are indeed gay or bi.

Of course there are exceptions, but I would suggest that it's very statistically likely it is his porn.

Either that or there was an outbreak of the gay at my school. :P

I don't know where you went to school. My experience was about half, higher than the normal population, but certainly not a foregone conclusion.

My old yearbook looks like a gay classifieds site. "How 'bout that one?" "Oh he caught the gay too." "And that one?" "Yeah, him too." "Damn, he was so young, he didn't get a chance to get laid with a woman." "Well, I don't think he probably wanted to, so it kind of doesn't matter."

2. hmm, a slight over reaction imo and the final paragraph nails it.
Fairfield police say they're unaware of the incident, but that it likely wouldn't be a criminal violation if there was no intent to show a pornographic image to minors, according to Sgt. Joel Orr. It is not illegal for adults to possess adult pornography.

plus they said the teacher didn't make a big deal of it so what did they want him to do, "HEY KIDS LOOK AT THIS PORN!!!"

4. He Needs to Apologize to His Employers, The Kids, And Their Parents
If he wants to have a prayer of keeping his job.

It was a school computer and I have no doubt he just learned the harshest way imaginable why it's not cool to use your employer's computer to store porn of any kind on.

16. Screw That - I Wanna Judge Now, While The Story's Still Hot!
He was responsible for what was up on the screen ... even if some prankster happened to upload (or DL) porn into his folder, he was the one clicking the button, he's the one parents and the school district expect to be showing something other than porn to the kids.

of tattletalers. Quick--rat on the teacher or anyone else like good little bots.

Sorry, but when I was in high school, no one would have ran to the office for something like this--sure we would have laughed and teased the teacher, but run to the office?
