Anyone here own an all electric vehicle?
How does the AC work in it? Does it drain the batteries quickly if one even exists for all-electric?

1. I use an electric scooter
that looks like a moped without the "ped." It has a top speed of 25 and a range between 20 and 25 miles. It has an onboard charger and the batteries are still taking a full charge after 5 years of hard use. I use it for all short hops where I'm not hauling large amounts of stuff. Wire baskets on the back are perfect for large canvas grocery bags and I've hauled cases of (diet) soda on the footrest---not the safest thing to do but it worked.

My scooter, perfect for inner city use, is at http://www.egovehicles.com

It's a honey for the money.

3. That's cool, thanks for posting
How do you think it would do with someone who weighs about 250?

4. Slower top speed, shorter range
but I know someone about that weight who has one. It's at the upper limit of the carrying capacity, though.

Check out all the information on the specs page. It'll tell you what you need to know.

2. Well, I have a trolling motor for my canoe. Does that count?
As far as a/c, you get about a 4-knot, water-cooled breeze with it. It'll go several hours on 1 battery charge.

Mostly I just row the canoe, though, or take my sailboat out.

5. Well...
I have a blender.

Does that count...?

Can't drive it further than the cord will allow though so trips past my counter top are out of the question.
