Bush Blames Housing Crisis on Democrats....
Edited on Wed May-14-08 01:15 PM by lib2DaBone
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush on Wednesday criticized Democrats in Congress for their approach to dealing with the nation's housing crisis and soaring energy prices and called anew for an extension of expiring tax cuts and government wiretapping authority.

Yup... more tax cuts for the Bankster/Gansters and spy on taxpayers... business as usual.. that'll do the trick.

1. He and his rotten party blame Democrats for everything
Fortunately, the voters seem to be wising up. The GOP is batting zero on all the special elections for their safest seats.

3. What does an extension of wiretapping authority have to do with the housing crisis?
Whoops, forgot. I was using logic.

5. What's going on? Is this Bush Blame Day, or what?
Someone must have told him he is the worst president ever and no one likes him any more.

9. He said this about a week ago.
He addressed Congress and tried to blame all his administrations screw-ups at the feet of the Democrats.

It's said a sign of strong character is a person willing to accept blame for their own mistakes. Assuming that to be true the Republican Party's character is around the consistency of warm pudding.

7. the "blame the Democrats" meme has worked for so long that the RW Noise Machine
just doesn't seem to grasp that the public has woken up and taken their grown-up pills.

The absolute ridiculousness of blaming the gas and housing crisies on the party NOT in power ain't working any more, assholes.

8. he's doing it wrong-
THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you all very much for that kind welcome. I'm here for a couple of reasons. First, I want to thank you all for your service to the greatest nation on the face of the Earth. (Applause.) I'm here to celebrate National Homeownership Month, because I believe owning a home is an essential part of economic security. And I'm concerned about the security of America. (Applause.)
