The southern style chicken sandwich is McDonald's attempt to clone Chick-Fil-A's chicken sandwich - they failed, but it's still the best sandwich McDonald's has (in my opinion).

(Fine print - it's not completely free - you need to buy a medium or large drink.)

2. The same price they are every day. You get the sandwich for free. You pay for the drink.

i'm eating in a regular restaurant i bring my own water from home. it comes out of my well -- a little lemon in it and it's great. i try to stay away from carbonated drinks and products with sugar.

you made me hungry now. i'm thinking about that damn sandwich.

5. I had one a couple days ago. I thought it was AWFUL
One of the worst things I've ever had there. And, obviously, that's really saying something.

12. I quit McD's after reading that...
then the McGriddle came along. I don't care if it's made of donkey dicks, baby brains, and Chernobyl cats, it's good.

10. What's up with these companies giving away food all of a sudden?
Go to McDonald's, get a sandwich; go to Dunkin' Donuts, get a coffee. For some, that could be their only meal of the day.

13. I think a lot of companies do this before summer..
It seems that way to me! Maybe less people are eating out due to the high gas prices?
My local TV news did a piece last night on restaurants that are lowering prices and
giving smaller portions now because of the rise in food prices across the board.
