I got an e-mail from a hard-core Repug friend and former co-worker
yesterday in response to a pro-bush e-mail another former co-worker. This is priceless....

Dear Andy (the former co-worker),

Rob (me) can’t be any stupider, and the article was probably read to him, anyway.

Nevertheless, Bush is the least effective president of my lifetime.

I remember when James Polk stole half the world from the Wets, and we thought that was bad.

We held our nose voting for McKinley after he killed all them Phillip Ians.

And, Carter? Set the New Low.

Nothing could be worse than Carter. Right? Then, the idiot son shows up.

He is a dull-witted, brain addled, unoriginal, lazy-minded, treasury plunderer, who shouldn’t lead a basement band, let alone the greatest nation in the history and future of the world. His paint by the numbers, neo-con block- head presidency has disgraced generations of Americans, not to mention the thousands of deaths, and severe head trauma and PTSD, of tens of thousands of brave soldiers, sent off in his pathetically mismanaged and historically significant (because of it’s horrible execution) Iraqi Escapade.

Even the French like us know.

I rest my case.

Andy, I miss your eyes. And the way they lit up whenever you saw me.

Your friend,

Le Deuche.

2. This part was written by the life-long repug

I thought it was all a pretty funny retort to a pro-Bush e-mail. Especially from a repug.

3. I wait for the day I get one of those ...
I haven't been able to associate with my hardcore neocon friend because she sends me trash emails filled with rightwing diatribe ... I think it may be too late for her ... I wouldn't spam her with liberal information because I know there is no chance she'd read it .... why would she send me that bible thumping garbage and lies about Obama thinking I'd find it interesting? ... very sad ... too bad ....

4. I turned this guy anti-bush two years ago
we haven't seen eachother or worked together in a year and a half and he moved back to VA but it is good to see that he hasn't been converted back to a Bushite. That being said he still votes straight Repug.

5. My most diehard rwer e-mail friend is the same
He loathes Bush. Can't stand him. He doesn't think much more of McCain. I have no idea who he's going to vote for.

My more reasonable rw e-mail friend has loathed Bush for a long time. He voted for Kerry and is so sorry he voted for Bush in 2000. I haven't specifically asked him who he's going to vote for this year, but he's expressing a great deal of interest in the Democrats. He was disappointed that we got down to a woman and an African American because he thinks either would have a hard time winning. Lately, he's been expressing a great deal of interest in Obama. I don't know if that's because he's decided he likes Obama or he thinks Obama will be our candidate.

2008 should be a great year for us. I only hope our next President doesn't get to feeling generous and refuse to investigate the many attrocities of BushCo.
