During Bush's BS.

In the clip on Olbermann, right after Bush says; "an American Senator declared, 'Lord if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.'.", the camera goes to a full shot of a man seated in the Knesset as he is removing his earpiece.

Perhaps I'm taking this to mean too much, but from what I understand of diplomatic appearances, one only removes the earpiece if they aren't interested in what the person has to say. Sure, most Israelis are bi-lingual, but translators are still useful.

Anyone else notice?

I know there are black Jews, I'm sure there are at least a few black Israelis. Either way, it seemed he just didn't want to hear it and began to take his earpiece off just after Bush mentioned Hitler.

My first reaction was he was having problems with the ear piece, but now that you mention it, maybe he was offended :shrug:. Bush is such an idiot. His comments were so inappropriate for that occasion. He has no social graces, but we already knew that.

and yes, there are black Jews. The theory is that they were the lost tribes of Israel. The two that I am aware of are the Lemba of South Africa and the Beta Israel from Ethiopia. There are 36,000 Ethiopian Jews living in Israel, and another 2,100 who wish to migrate.
