1. I try to listen every day.

In fact, I even try to plan my day around it so that I can either audio stream it or listen to in on my local AM station during my run.

That show is what's keeping me (in)sane during this horribly long primary season.

5. Been listening since they took Sam out of the time slot on AAR.

Can't stand Lionel. I wish I could get her on my radio (regular of XM) instead of having to stream.

I just checked all the stations she's on and I didn't know she's on in MA but it's
to far away from me to pick it up, so I have to stream in the internet as well.

7. I suspect with enough pressure, XM might put her on instead of Lionel.

After all they run Randi Rhodes, Ed Schultz, and some other shows instead of AAR programming. (Which makes the name of channel 167 "Air America" inaccurate.)

I guess I'll fire off an email, but if Steph could get her listeners organized to lobby for it, it would be more effective.

8. I think writing letters to XM would help!

Most of these shows ask their listeners to write to XM and demand the show! Good luck!
I have a satellite radio in my car but I'm not sure if it's XM or Sirius (it came with
my car) and I don't have it activated. :(

11. If you get it activated

(and you can find deals by doing a little googling to get free activation and bargain rates) you may not go back to regular radio. I either stream or listen to XM. I almost never listen to regular radio in the truck. They even have a traffic channel for my area.

It really is worth it for under $10 a month.

12. XM really needs a second "left" channel.

I haven't been a subscriber for a while, but the last time I counted, they had at least 5 right wing channels, and only one (167) which now has far too many programs for one channel. They only air two hours each of Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow, and Mike Malloy, and because they air Ed Schultz, Thom's show is also delayed by a full 8 hours!

They could easily fill another channel with a weekday schedule airing Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, and Mike Malloy, all live and the total show. And the afternoon/early evening slot between Randi and Mike could go to Peter B. Collins. Or maybe Jeff Farias? It's true that Jeff's show is designed to be a local drivetime show for Phoenix, but what better to have on the radio when you're running against Grandpa John McLoon.

If XM added this channel, I would reactivate my radio that same day. Until then, I guess I'm tied to the Nova M stream.

10. Me too... I time it in the AM so that

my coffee is ready and the morning news shows are over. I wait to turn on my computer
until when The Bill Press Show is ending to log onto DU and load the NovaMRadio website
and get the stream going. I've got it down to a fine art. :P
