Hitler gave up golfing too!
As Adolf was hacking away at the 11 hole bunker, Goebbels whispered to him that his troops were being slaughtered on the eastern front. Hitler did finish the round, under par, and had a beer and a schnitzengreubel in the clubhouse. But he vowed to never play golf while his soldiers were fighting and dying. Instead, Hitler took up tennis. Everyone in Germany knew that golf was verboten during wartime.

1. Hitler hated Liberals, and those Germans who disagreed with him.
They achieved a permanent political majority in every branch of government.

They politicized schools, society, and the media. Nothing was off the table.

They burned the books they thought were too liberal.
