Evidence

Here's the AP article about Huckabee's joke:
http://www.startribune.com/nation/19017759.html

Hearing a loud noise and interrupting his speech, Huckabee said: "That was Barack Obama. He just tripped off a chair. He's getting ready to speak and somebody aimed a gun at him and he — he dove for the floor."

There were only a few murmurs in the crowd after the remark.

video from CNN. The silence after Huckabee's joke is pretty deafening.

1. Huckabee is scum
Maybe even the NRA knuckle-draggers are able to recognize this fact.

2. If they had laughed, there wouldn't have been an apology from Huckabee. nt

3. Is that what he apologized for
I was wondering how he suddenly became relevant.

What is it with Republicans and idiotic bigoted statements?

4. I noted that, and I was frankly astonished.
I mean, after Charlton Heston's comments about lynching Gore (which drew a good bit of cheers) and Ted Nugent telling Clinton and Obama to "suck on" his AK-47s... I'm really kinda shocked that they seemed to be repelled by Huckabee.

This whole election cycle is so Alice in Wonderland.

7. Exactly! Alot of Democrats know that the tree of liberty
needs to be refreshed with the blood of tyrants and patriots from time to time. Some are NRA members.
