Apology NOT accepted, Motherfuckabee.

http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Top_News/2008/05/16/huckabee_apologizes_for_obama_gun_joke/2500

You are a liar, sir. A baldfaced Bushie Liar. Not meant to disparage Obama, eh? You human garbage sack, cowardly dab of catshit.

And I would like to paraphrase Marlon Brando as Don Corleone in "The Godfather" to any Bushie Fucks, SS Goons and HS Thugs who make be looking in:

...but if Obama should have an accident, be shot by a "lone gunman", have Air Force One mysteriously crash, then I will hold some of the people at this table responsible...and this I will not forgive.

Understood?

:grr: :grr:  :grr:

Kick and rec this if you feel as I do about Motherfuckabee and the rest of it.

9. Oh, whatever "lone gunman" that (God Forbid) does this will be as "guilty"
Edited on Sat May-17-08 01:40 AM by tom_paine
as Oswald or Sirhan.

Which is to say, not guilty or partially guilty, at best.

The Bushies won't leave this murder (again, God Forbid it should happen) to the hands of rank amateurs like Oswald or Sirhan, any more than their other political murders from Salem Bin Laden and Olaf Palme to Martin Luther King, the Kennedys, and everyone in between, before and since.

No, as with Oswald or Sirhan, the REAL Bushie assassins will be there to make sure the job is done, even as the patsies are getting ready to be crucified.

Of all the thousands of stories our Corporate TV Pravda has ignored, perhaps the most significant was a couple years ago, when reexamination of photos from the Ambassador Hotel revealed CIA men who had no earthly business being there and actually were suppsed to be halfway around the world at the time.

http://gnn.tv/headlines/12601/RFK_assassination_photos_reveal_C_I_A

Naaah. That's not newsworthy. No story here.

10. Although this doesn't alter the OFFENSIVESS of that Huckabee remark,
I'm grateful for that news item. Right at this moment, I'm reading a book about the CIA, Cuba, and the JFK assassination. That's just the latest of many such books & DVDs I've gone through. I initially had doubts about the RFK assassination being "suspicious", but no longer. And that they're both linked, seems a near certainty by now.

This gives me some more names to Google, as well as dots to connect.

21. Perhaps even
JFK jr too. Many unanswered questions and he was possibly planning a run in 2000. I watched a video about a month ago that had video clips of the bombing in Oklahoma. And now that I think back I remember them talking about more bombs in the building and that they had already removed another bomb. Now how did Timmy do that? I think the video was called In plane sight. It's about 9/11 and Oklahoma.

96. Yes, JFK Jr. indeed.
Read up on it. Allegedly suspicious critters were working on his small plane the day before he took it out on the fatal flight.

Jackie must have been a real bossy mother. John-John (Yes I'm old enough to remember when he was a toddler) said that he really wanted to go to Hollywood and be a movie star. And what a gorgeous leading man he would have made!! I think he was the best looking man of the 20th century.

They said he had his daddy's charisma. And I bet Jackie made him go to law school so he could be a politician.

That's why I compared him to the Hutus and the way they used talk radio to encourage and--at times--organize the attacks against the Tutsi during the Rwandan Genocide.

And now with all the "Recreate '68" crap, the similarities to Rush, Savage-Weiner, et al. is shocking.

17. Of course they're lightly covering it. It's the Bushies' Media.
They have literally created the nightmare that they have always pretended was aginst them.

Now we have Bush Lie Machine and the Toady Media That Carries Their Water.

There is no Free Press in Imperial Amerika, at least, not any that reaches 1,000,000 people at once or even 100,000.

Olbermann might be considered an exception, but it is unsurprising that he has no imitators, as every show that reaches his level of success has LONG BEFORE they reach his level of popularity.

Imperial Amerika is an Inverted Totalitarianism, not a Free Nation.

72. "Kidding on the square" is telling a joke you are deadly serious about.
So very common among Loyal Bushies, who are trying to pretend to be Americans when at heart they are Nazis.

Like when they say, "The world would be a better place if every liberal comitted suicide." (and they do say that, perhaps as often in private as the Nazis used to say that same thing about the Jews during the rule of the German Bushies from 1933-1945; there's no way to measure it and compare)

THAT is "kidding on the square".

18. A silver lining, perhaps....
While such threats are common from that side of the aisle (common enough that I recall Jesse Helms' not-so-veiled threat against President Clinton), they generally have the effect of isolating the person who said it. Jesse Helms held onto his Foreign Relations Committee chair but, if I recall correctly, never again had legislation with his name on it passed in Congress.

Huckabee could suffer similar fallout. I think he's the most dangerous running mate McCain could possibly pick, thanks to his ability to motivate the snake-handlers. This incident will certainly count against him in some circles--but probably not in the back rooms where Republican policy is truly decided.

In this consumer culture parody, professional wrestler "Rowdy" Roddy Piper plays an unemployed working stiff who finds a pair of sunglasses that let him see the world as it truly is. Billboards carry subliminal messages such as "Submit to Authority," and yuppies are aliens bent on subduing the human race. Before you can say, "Die, yuppie scum!" Piper grabs a gun and starts blasting.

Not one of these 'Im sorry that so and so was offended by my comments' or 'Im sorry I spoke in a way that could be seen as offensive'... He actually called his comments offensive..

68. Problem: It's way beyond "offensive." It's incendiary and motivating to crackpots.
To even "joke" about pointing a gun at anyone -- especially Obama, who, because of his ethnicity, could literally be a target for reactionary, right-wing nutcases -- is WAY out of bounds.

It's akin to making a crack about a bomb on an airplane -- enough to get one thrown in the slammer.

So, no credit for Huckabee's apology at all. He crossed a serious line.

theater isn't there? There are enough idiots out there who might interpret the good Christian pastor's words as a 'green light' ..... Huckabee should suffer dire consequences for inciting some poor fool to attempt murder.. same thing for Limbaugh - he should certainly suffer some kind of consequences for inciting people to riot in Denver - Unfortunately, these petty tyrants and others like them have been getting away with 'murder' for far too long now..

59. I hereby Deputize America to Guard Barack Obama from the hateful miscreants.
There is a simple solution.

Everyone stand together and never live in fear. This direct warning from Huckabee should be used to initiate an Obama watch by Every single man, woman and child that is in his vicinity, 24 hours a day. If you are at a rally with Obama, take Photo's of everything. If you don't have a digital camera, buy one and get the biggest memory card available to story all the images and video just in case.

If anything occurs at all, take immediate action and intelligently photograph the area.

This is what a smart, well organized team does, and American Citizens are trained at least in collecting information. Others, like ex-military are happy to intervene, knowing that there is inherent risk, but we are not afraid of sacrifice.

If any enemies were to witness the concerted effort of thousands of Americans, Alert for any trouble, and ready to swarm like a Hive of Bee's, they would know that it would be a one way trip.

I personally don't think that they would be that stupid, but after 9/11, and the coverup of the same, it is clear that Corporate greed knows no boundaries, and has no remorse. They also like to ignore the consequences of their actions. If they knew that this would act as a catalyst to stop the money coming their way, they would think twice.

Just remember, it it happens to Obama, then it can happen to you. Forget the fear, just be alert and assert yourself, like a worker Honeybee, ready to sacrifice itself for the sake of the colony.

The Huckabee comment is way out of line, but it does represent what the Repug's are thinking, so we'd be best to respond to it not by getting angry, but becoming more aware of our fellow man, and nip trouble in the bud before it happens. Getting angry drives a divisive wedge between us and them, and the fear addles the mind. Don't fall for it -- it's a trick.

See an Organic method to protect our Democracy at the following link, and thank Mother Earth for her willingness to share this strategy with us, if only we choose to see.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_giant_hornet
Corporations hate this stuff, because they cannot patent it and claim it as their own.

Native honey bees

Japanese honey bees (Apis cerana japonica) forming a "bee ball" in which two hornets (Vespa simillima xanthoptera) are engulfed and being heated.Although a handful of Asian giant hornets can easily defeat the defenses of many individual honey bees, whose small stings cannot inflict much damage against such a large predator, the Japanese honey bee (Apis cerana japonica) possesses a collective defense against them.

When a hornet scout locates and approaches a Japanese honey bee hive it will emit specific pheromonal hunting signals. When the honey bees detect these pheromones, a hundred or so will gather near the entrance of the nest and keep it open, apparently to draw the hornet further into the hive or allow it to enter on its own. As the hornet enters the nest, a large mob of about five hundred honey bees surrounds it, completely covering it and preventing it from moving, and begin quickly vibrating their flight muscles. This has the effect of raising the temperature of the honey bee mass to 47 °C (117 °F). The honey bees can just tolerate this temperature, but the hornets cannot survive more than 45 °C (113 °F), and die. Often several bees perish along with the intruder, but the death of the hornet scout prevents it from bringing reinforcements which could wipe out the colony.<8>

67. I'm genuinely disappointed in him.
After what he'd said in defense of Obama and Rev. Wright--a decidedly unpopular view...

"(Y)ou can't hold the candidate responsible for everything that people around him may say or do," Huckabee says. "It's interesting to me that there are some people on the left who are having to be very uncomfortable with what ... Wright said, when they all were all over a Jerry Falwell, or anyone on the right who said things that they found very awkward and uncomfortable, years ago. Many times those were statements lifted out of the context of a larger sermon. Sermons, after all, are rarely written word for word by pastors like Rev. Wright, who are delivering them extemporaneously, and caught up in the emotion of the moment. There are things that sometimes get said, that if you put them on paper and looked at them in print, you'd say 'Well, I didn't mean to say it quite like that.'"

"As easy as it is for those of us who are white to look back and say 'That's a terrible statement!' ... I grew up in a very segregated South. And I think that you have to cut some slack -- and I'm gonna be probably the only conservative in America who's gonna say something like this, but I'm just tellin' you -- we've gotta cut some slack to people who grew up being called names..."

I really thought he was better than this. I know he's a right-wing fundie with a lot of weird ideas, but I thought he was certainly no racist, and not a mean-spirited man.

I see what he said as a horrible, horrible Freudian slip. I think that what he "joked" about, is just what popped into his head. I don't believe it was anything like the kind of thing he'd actually want to say, but say it, he did.

Anyway, it's really not up to us to accept the apology, is it?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22Liberal+Vermin%22

It's well beyond time to get mad, and it is well beyond time to use profanity.

And if you don't like it, then who gives a shit? They are exhorting each other in code to murder our candidate!

How much is too much, George II? How much will you take before you get mad? Obama getting Kennedied or Wellstoned, God Forbid? Gonna be polite then? Gonna choose your words carefully so as not to offend?

Gonna watch as, just like with the Kennedys and Wellstone and many others, the real murderers walk because the murderers or the ones who ordered the murder are in charge of the agencies investigating the murder?

Well, you do that. Measure your words. Cower. Be polite. Get your ass steamrolled.

Well I say FUCK being polite. I say Bushies and Nazis, two different varieties of the same disease, warrant no such consideration, not after it becomes absolutely clear what they are.

If we were dealing with another faction of Free People, in a strong, healthy Free Nation, I would fully agree with you. In that case, there would be no call for talk like this. In that case, I would not dream of talking like this.

But we are dealing with Totalitarians and their programmed followers, every bit as potentially dangerous to ourselves, Liberty, and the world as the Nazis were.

So please, spare me your mewling and your "moral highground" and open your eyes! Click on my Google link above.

And take your politeness to totalitarian monsters and shove it up your ass.

Every time we engage the other side in a justifiably rough, obscenity-laden manner, here come the party wimps, bleating that Democrats have to make nice-nice, turn the other cheek, and never, ever, ever sink to the level of our enemies. Well, motherfuck that shit. In the entire history of our party, Democrats have never been more entitled to be outraged, nor have we ever been more entitled to strike back forcefully. You shrinking violets need to get out of the way of those of us who are ready to get down to the right wing's filthy level and do battle, verbally for sure, physically if necessary. I've been ready to take to the streets for some time now, and I'm in the Denver area; if the dittoheads show up to disrupt the convention in August, in the streets is exactly where I'll be. And it won't be like Chicago '68, because this time, we'll win.....

Paladin answered your first post, and this one, too, come to think of it, with the post directly above.

Yeah, you keep worrying about messages. You keep worrying about "how it looks". You keep carefully modulating your speech while the Bushies say whatever they want and have it work work WORK because so many party wimps are so damned scared to speak plainly and straightforwardly, profanity-laced or otherwise.

And if you can't figure out what all this mewling navel-gazing and fear has to do with the Bushies or why they have come as close as anyone in American History to completely eradicating the Constitution and Bill of Rights, then clueless is far too mild a term to apply to you.

Wake up... or roll over and surrender once more, party wimp (thanks for that erm, Paladin...it is so wonderfully accurate).

No wonder the public largely thinks we are a bunch of spinelss (w)ussies, without the guts to stand up and fight for what we believe in. Because so many of us ARE, and that is a reality that I resisted until our Democratic Leadership shoved my nose in it in 2007 so far I couldn't fail to notice.

You really miss the point. ALL of this could be said without posting obscenities in the subject line of the OP! All that does is lost the point of the message in the first place. THAT is what I meant by "what does this have to do with the bushies" - you need an intensive course in reading comprehension, my friend.

It takes a "spine" to post filthy language? Inserting foul language in the middle of Huckabee's name proves that one has a spine? Utterly ridiculous and childish. You lost the argument.

117. LOL. Go ahead, party wimp. Declare yourself the winner. Too bad that doesn't work in elections.
Edited on Sun May-18-08 04:19 PM by tom_paine
Oh, that's right, it does when the Bushies face off against you party wimps.

I will try to explain it so that even someone like you can understand. Yes, I take your point. However, what you cannot see and won't ever see that this isn't about profanity but in what you represent.

I will give you an example in one last attempt to enlighten you as to why you might be technically correct but wrong wrong WRONG in you fearful cowardice.

In 2004, I worked, as I have in every election since 2000, for my Democratic Congressional Candidate. At various time throughout the campaign I kept hearing the higher-ups in the campaign saying, "We don't want to anger the Republicans. No, we can't say that, we don't want to anger the Republicans. If we do that, we might galvanize the Republicans and get them angry."

All of this after the Bushies had spent the last months saying the vilest of things about Kerry, as well as our Congressional candidate, profane and otherwise, openly and publicly. And we were STILL terrified to hit them back, rhetorically speaking, and no, I am not speaking of profanity or anything close to it.

Now, you can remain in high dudgeon at the horror my "awful" profanity, or you can UNDERSTAND that it is not the specific incident we are speaking of (and yes, if I was campaigning, your criticism would be well-warranted...but this is not a campaign, it's a discussion board) but that this specific argument is a stand-in for all that you and the rest of the Party Wimps have done to us by abrogating your duties, being so goddamned scared of your own shadows and so afraid of what the Bushies will say about us.

But, no, it's easier for you to remain in high dudgeon. So I supect that's where you'll stay. As always, it's easier for you to take on your own than it is to stand up to a Bushie.

What people like you will NEVER understand is that people respect strength of conviction. What people like you will never understand that there is a time for measured words and a time when things have gotten so bad that there is nothing else to do but say it plain and even, outside of the confines of an actual political campaign, to say it profane to add that extra punctuation of severity and immediacy.

I do want to thank you for so deeply proving my point with your cluelessness and inability to think beyond the narrow confines of profanity on a message board to the larger issues being raised. For being the perfect Poster Child of Party Wimps, correct in the barest technical sense, yet so badly wrong and backwards in the larger sense. Failing to grasp the larger issues in the quest to "win the argument" and "score a point". Willing to aim both barrels at your friends, but hesitating to pull the trigger against those scary Bushies because you don't wnat to anger them.

This is a discussion board, NOT a political campaign. And our exchange has very little to do with profanity, but a state of mind. The same state of mind which has given everything to the Bushies, and is poised to let them get away with their crimes scot-free yet again, not to mention letting them pick up right where they left off when next they have power.

But why am I trying to explain this to you? It's like trying to teach the meaning of blue to someone who has been blind at birth, or trying to teach hogs how to perform calculus.

You just get dirty and the hog is still just as clueless at the end of the day.

Now, go ahead and delare victory for yourself. Call me whatever you want: juvenile, childish, whatever. Just don't call me late for dinner, Party Wimp.

Now, go find a Bushie so you can be afraid of what they will think of you and say about you.

What a reprehensible remark from someone who calls himself a Christian.

113. John Kerry tells a joke about Bush, and gets absolutely excoriated
for it by our wonderful corporate media!! Never mind the fact that it effectively kills his chances for any future bids at a nomination for the Presidency...

Huckabee gets barely a fucking mention in the press...

Memo to lurking wingnuts - tell me some more stories about the liberal media!

114. He said something stupid and he knows he said
something stupid. He apologised immediately afterwards. And he's apologised since the original apology. What more can he do? Damn, get over it already. I haven't heard Obama crying about it and he's the one who was the butt of this dumbass excuse for a joke. Politicians say stupid shit sometimes, things they wish they could unsay as soon as they close their mouths. Before this campaign is over I can guarantee you both Obama and McCain will utter something totally stupid and get grilled about it. That's life...

118. Unfortunately, instead of revolution, Democrats will 'offer their concession'
as Al Gore did, in response to the first GOP coup d'etat.

This should be the appropriate response, but we won't see it.
