You know Huckabee went over the line when even the FR gang won't chuckle...
Out of all of the stupid things to do for somebody who thinks they can be a VP on McCain's ticket.

Add this to the long list of reasons why Huckabee is not fit for national office.

What a maroon

Huckabee tries to be too funny, and like many people who do, he seldom is.

As soon as he said it, and didn’t get the response he expected, I’m sure he started thinking “maybe I shouldn’t make jokes about assassinations and Presidential candidates”.

The Huckster is a complete moron, and maybe, just maybe, this gaff, will keep the bufoon off the ticket.

God I am glad this loon is not going to be my President.

There goes his political career.....

What a DumbAss!!! Just when things are starting to look up for the GOP, Huckabee opens his fat mouth. Please, oh please, go back to Arkansas and help Hillary's campaign there.

1. I don't have enough faith in most of the FReeps to believe that they *wouldn't* be laughing
if Huckabee's quip had actually been funny. I don't think it's so much the sentiment that Huckabee expressed that bothered them, it's just that it wasn't a very clever joke.

2. Huckabee is a fool.
During the primaries he was always making these little jokes, trying to be funny, and most of the time he was anything but.

3. They've never liked Huckabee.
But if Fred Thompson had said it, they'd be high-fiving and backslapping each other all over the place.

4. Ding Ding...We Have A Winner
There's more sour grapes over there about their choice of candidates than there ever was here. For some Hucklenutz is "too liberal"...this hive wanted either Fred or Rudy...and probably still hold hope either will be resurrected from the dead.

Nonetheless, gotta give the knuckledraggers some credit for realizing there is a line out there...but all it takes is one of those nutjobs and well...
