Tonight: 10:00 pm EST TCM
"The 7th Voyage of Sinbad" 1958. Contains the single best example of stop action animation. That would be the fight between Sinbad and the skeletons that arise from the Hydras teeth. This was one of the few Ray Harryhausen movies that had a decent budget.

5. They're both really damn good IMO
But JATA is a sacrosanct classic from Saturday afternoon tv for me. The scene in which the skeletons sprout from the ground scared the hell out of me.
