Edited on Sat May-17-08 10:47 PM by Omaha Steve

I have two books to read for my upcoming test. I have 6 months to get my license after I start training in July. So for awhile, I'll be mostly quiet. I'll miss this wonderful gathering place.

3. Fourth level waste water license

Sounds disgusting. But it won't be bad. Unlike most plants, the EPA has an office on site so we have a tight ship. I do have to pass a function test before my promotion takes effect. The fly in the ointment is not knowing how well my shoulder will work after I'm released from my doctors care in July or so. I was hurt on the job at another plant (Papio) last December when I was loaned to them temporarily. My surgery was March 21st. If I can't pass the physical performance test, the city will find something I can do as a result of my injury. I'll stay a semi skilled laborer. I won't have to take a disability pension.
