I cracked up when I read down at the bottom: "Remember, use simple words."

5. Some of those are great, but I didn't understand some of them
I thought the Gore/Bush ballot was great in its simplicity and impact...use the eraser.

Also, the red tape shutting Bush up. Don't we wish?

How could anyone sleep at night, knowing how the world perceives you in such a manner? Well, I guess there was a mattress ad that could answer that question.

6. 2 yrs ago I was in the Tube in London...
There was an ad showing Bush pontificating and a caption about how everyone "misspeaks" at times. I forget what the ad was for but I thought it was hilarious. A couple of the more conservative in our group thought it was disrespectful. I just thought it showed how low the US was regarded overseas.

8. My grandson spent a semester in Wales, and he said...
It was embarrassing to see the reaction of people when they learned he was from the U.S. He finally got used to the jokes and was able to accept them, as he felt the same way. He said that everyone laughed about Bush and then offered their sympathy for what we've had to put up with these past godawful years. He said they don't really blame "the people" but can't believe we haven't ousted him. My grandson said we are as frustrated by that point as they are.
