4. A Mile Wide And An Inch Thick
Seems like almost every repugnican (those who still dare to admit it) say they support Gramps but there's always a qualifier. It's usually for their hate of Democrats ("librul dirty fuckin' homosexual, alien hippies") that they cite, but it's generally said in broad strokes. Also, while they say they support Gramps, you'll probably also hear who they really supported during the primaries...as in "I really wanted Rudy, but Gramps will do". Few are satisfied...but what's their alternative?

Gramps is a lame candidate...one that his SNL appearances and corporate media supporters can't cover up...especially with the repugnican "base". While we can cite him flip-flopping on virtually every major issue, so can they and thus they're just as not sure which Gramps will show up. They also see him for being the opportunist as we do, but, again, what's their alternative. He's their only hopes to hold onto any of power.

The real fun with the GOOP will be if they lose big in November...those knives will be out and Gramps will be relegated to the Bob Dole wing of failed candidates.
