Are We Going to Double Down on Dumb Again?
Last week Bush and his sidekick, Mini-Me, played the "terra" card on Obama and Obama replied vigorously. That's nice...but here's the problem.

If our Dem game plan in this election is to vigorously answer the McBush twins plus give great speeches of hope regarding economy, health care, etc., we are going to have our ass shot off and handed to us on a silver platter come Nov. Here's the solution to that problem:

This time we need to take an issue they are weak on (like the economy)and attack them using the SAME dirty verbage they used against Obama. Example: outright call Bush economics as "economic terrorism" against the middle class and the poor. Then use the 'flash' cards of "The Commie Chinese now own us because Bush gave away the country without firing a shot" and "if you doubt their terrorism, go look at the price at the gas pump, the grocery store, etc."

Bottom line: fear always trumps messages of hope---something the Repubs learned a long time ago but just never sinks into our brains. If we are going to beat them, we literally have to make the people equate Bush/McCain/Republicans with terrorists (and terrorists that need to be feared as much as any terrorist organization...which is the truth!) They have branded us as everything from soft on terror to "the devil" and the people lapped it up like spilled beer. We have to make them "enemies of the people" hiding behind flag lapel pins. The day the people realize those flag pins are code for "fuck the people over" is the day we get this nation back! Let's play it smart this time around.

1. Under Bush, the GOP is also weak on defense
Bush declared war on terrorists then went through the motions of fighting such a war at Tora Bora before abandoning the war on terror and invading Iraq. Since then, al Qaida has made a comeback.

That's not a success.

The war against Iraq, which should never have been waged, was completely mismanaged. The Iraqi people want the occupation to end. Moreover, the government that the US installed is pro-Iranian.

That's not a success.

The war is costing a trillion dollars and the US military is broken. Yet Bush and McCain want to go to war against Iran.

That's just stupid.

2. That's another example
Instead of our usual vague references to things that go right over the head of the voters, I suggest we take Bush's lack of follow up on the war against the terrorists as AIDING and terrorists and running a smoke screen for them in Iraq so that they could grow in power and influence. I'm trying to get us to think like right wing radio talk slime and put so much spin on anything and everything that McCain vomits from his head spinning off his shoulders in trying to knock down every attack. It's time we fight their "terrorism" with our own brand of it!!!

"we are going to have our ass shot off and handed to us on a silver platter come Nov" Look at what happened in those three special elections, three Dem's beat out the RePuke in conservative districts, that has to be an indication that their same old song isn't playing well. Their FEAR message just isn't believable anymore, they have no claim to a better economic plan and the notion that the RePublics stand for change is plain laughable.
