Anyone has the NBC release telling Bush that
he does not make decisions for NBC editorial policy?

This is about complaints from Ed Gillespie about the editing of the Richard Engel

I saw Tweety reading it earlier.

2. It Is...But They Won't Admit It
It's the same game O'Reilly and Faux are playing trying to slime the overall operation in hopes of putting the screws to the top brass.

4. He mentioned the Engel interview and that Bushco objected
to the edited sections and then read it. All he said after was that the entire interview was available at NBCs website.

5. Someone Musta Missed The Blast Fax...LOL
Of course this regime feels as though it can dictate the news and how it's "covered". They're used to being able to bully and intimidate what is covered and how its spun. M$NBC is the target here...not NBC...hoping to put the "fear of god" into the News Division to shut up all them "libruls" like Olbermann and Maddow and um um um...well the place is just loaded with them...

Cheers...

<snip>

From Gillespie
Mr. Capus:

This e-mail is to formally request that NBC Nightly News and The Today Show air for their viewers President Bush's actual answer to correspondent Richard Engel's question about Iran policy and "appeasement," rather than the deceptively edited version of the President's answer that was aired last night on the Nightly News and this morning on The Today Show.

In the interview, Engel asked the President: "You said that negotiating with Iran is pointless, and then you went further. You said that it was appeasement. Were you referring to Senator Barack Obama?"

From NBC
Richard Engel's interview with President Bush has been available, unedited, in its entirety, for the past day, on our website. Our reporting accurately reflects the interview. Just as the White House does not participate in the editorial process at the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal or USA Today, NBC News, as part of a free press in a free society, makes its own editorial decisions.

Take that you lame fuck - even NBC has found its balls.

add snip from Gillespie letter

7. This Ain't The Way To Bait The Refs...
You gotta think the Gramps Lobby Shop must be going through a meltdown right now. The last people they need or want to pick a fight with is a major national network. I'm getting the feeling junior is off the reservation here...his ego is hurt and thinks that this is one of the few fights left he and his enablers can win. Maybe that they can "whip" Cammus into shape...stop that nasty Abrams dude from picking on poor Karl and stuff a sock in that Olbermann ass.

Methinks they've just stirred a hornets nest...Gramps could pay the price. Good going junior!

10. Don't forget Tweety devoured the first person sent out
with the talking point re appeasement. Between KOs special comment and Tweety's annihilation of that twat Kevin, it was a bad week for the lame fuck.

11. Please don't forget that same NBC allowed the
Pentagon hacks lots of airtime and several other hacks as well.
It's a breath of fresh air when anyone at M$M remembers the words 'a free press in a free society'.

17. "...he does not make decisions for NBC editorial policy..."
Really? That's weird. The Bushies have been making exactly such decisions for all the mass media outlets, particularly radio and TV, for the previous seven and some odd years.

So this is actually news, I guess. A charter member of the GE*.NBC faction of the junta's Ministry of Propaganda abandons its post in time of war. Details when we damn well feel like it.

Whatever... It can't possibly last beyond one news cycle.

I might even turn on the TV to watch that suck-up corporate tool Brian Williams' head explode.

Fun until normality returns, anyway.
