1. I think that would be a good match
Biden would provide ballast or bombast, one of the two.

2. Sounds good to me
You cannot ask for anyone more knowledgeable about the Middle East.
It would be an excellent choice, IMHO.

3. Biden would be a kickass Veep. For the GE race alone.
Not to mention, he'd be great behind the scenes.

4. Other than Lyndon Johnson and Texas in 1960, what VP candidate has meant anything
but the order of letters on the bottom of bumperstickers in the general election?

5. Well, considering how much we bitch about Cheney...
...I'd say it at least means something.

7. Let me see... TRUMMAN, yep people voted for TRUMMAN in 1944
then there was this little thing about BUSH in 1988

And of course whoever the Pugs put on the ticket this year...

And should we mention the most powerful VEEP in the history of the US... aka Darth Chenney?

That is just scratching the surface, given that one third of all VEEPS have taken over the post

11. it was really a fluke that Truman ended up being FDR's Veep
and if I remember my Presidential history, FDR didn't much care for Truman

9. LBJ told Nixon after the '68 election that it was smart politics to choose Agnew as running mate
because Agnew's anti-intellectual, anti-supreme court spew countered George Wallace and probably helped win Nixon states like TN, SC, FL, KY, and NC (rather than going to Wallace, who was a third party candidate in '68) while Johnson thought that Humphrey's running mate, Ed Muskie only gained the Dems his homestate of Maine.

Also, Al Gore going with fellow southerner Clinton in '92 certainly helped in the south.

8. Yes! Delaware's electoral vote is ours!!
I know, I know, they actually have 3... :P

Outstanding candidate. Too bad he's from a small state known mainly for its tolls. Veepstakes ususally focus on someone from a large, purplish state.
