LIEberman to Google - Tells them to CENSOR CONTENT
Lieberman wrote an letter to Eric Schmidt, Chairman of Google, objecting to take down content.
"WASHINGTON – Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Joe
Lieberman, ID-Conn., Monday called on Google to remove Internet video content produced by terrorist
organizations such as Al-Qaeda. The videos – readily available on YouTube –show assassinations,
deaths of U.S. soldiers and civilians, weapons training, incendiary speeches by al-Qaeda leadership,
and other material intended to encourage violence against the West."
Think about it.

1) If this stuff is up there, it's a law enforcement issue. They're watching.
2) If they find it a threat, they'll contact Google.
3) If they want it up to track it, they'll still
call Google to make sure they get it all.
4) BUT for LIEberman to make this point publicly makes no sense. It tips off the bad guys and puts
Google in a corner.

This is just a tune up fight for the real goal - the Internet Violent Radicalization Bill - the
one that makes you a criminal if you say something that inflames someone you don't know, don't
agree with, and will never meet. It's there to kill DU and other forums by chilling free speech.

4. He's a nightmare
For a guy who touts his morality, he does a lot of damage - at home to our civil liberties and
the Constitution and overseas to U.S. soldiers and Iraqis, who have died and been maimed due to
his proclivities, which are grotesque.

3. Isn't that amazing.
You think that would be the first thing he'd do. Maybe they just laughed and said, "Oh, sure.
Do you think you're being followed?"
