Congress takes on Oil and food prices
Congress held a meeting today to discuss the causes of rising oil prices and the rising food prices. You can read about it here:

http://money.cnn.com/2008/05/20/news/economy/senate_commodities/index.htm?postversion=2008052016

Even McCains buddy Joe had something to say about it that made sense. Now the problem is we all know that the markets have been manipulated by speculators trying to get rich while the rest of the world suffers, so the questions is, will congress have the backbone to do something about it besides just have some damned meeting on the problem!

It's so obvious what is going on in the commodities markets, so why not do something about it instead of just talking about it?
