I was driving home from the PX when I heard the news of Kennedy's tumor
I am sure this is going to be one of those moments

I also remember driving on H-1 from Jelly's, a store, when bush gave his mission accomplished piece of crap

And woken by sis about 9.11...

Oh and outside the Cafeteria when Columbia went boom... while in college...

This will be one of those moments

1. As pointed out in earlier posts, Ted is alive, and will be for agood while
He may even overcome the tumor, but at least he will be able to function with the aid od anti-seizure drugs. He is indeed a Lion of the Senate, but his days as such are not over yet. GO Teddy!

3. Medical background here... best case he can and will survive this
usual prognosis, depending on how AGGRESSIVE the tumor is... not really

Though he was diagnosed early... and he gets top notch medical care

Just being realistic

That's the spirit. (CNN showed him with family and reported this neat little factoid this afternoon.)

Cordially,

Radio Lady in Oregon

2. I am troubled by the way the media...
is covering this. Saturday they already were talking of him in the past tense. Today, it is as though they are eulogizing him. Why the rush?

5. Saturday it looked like a stroke... and that might have taken him out for the count
depending on how bad it was

This is in some ways worst

Read above.

There are days I hate that medical background

And yes, I was almost screaming at NPR when they said Glioma

I went, you mother fuckers, call it in a way most folks can understand

Here are some fact sheets for you

6. Thank You...
This article which was at the link you provided me, has given me much more information about why this is so serious, than I would probably find out watching 4 hours of MSNBC. I understand the seriousness, but am still offended by the rush to write him off. Those days will come, but they are not now.
