5. Damn.=....my Dad's B29 from WWII - The Three Feathers-- has been restored
and is in Riverside....outside....at the Marsh Air Force base. 4 of the 11 crew members are still alive. I email with his beloved Pilot, who lives in Pensacola, every day. Ed's 90 and a whipper-snapper on the Internet. All of the Three Feathers crew and their wives have stayed in touch for years and years...they lost their co-pilot last fall.

My sister and Ed's daughter took a trip to Marsh AFB recently, and both gals sat in their Dad's seats in the restored plane---60+ years after their fathers were in it.

I hope their plane is OK....

Is anyone out in Riverside area that may know about how all of the restored planes that were OUTSIDE of the hangers, fared in the tornado????/

6. March AFB was site of 2 small tornadoes this afternoon...
...according to KCAL9 (local TV). It did overturn a truck and disrupted traffic on the 215 freeway...but not much other damage. I'm in Murrieta...to the south. We just had heavy rain, hail and thunder here...but it's odd this time of year.

3. It's been crazy windy in N. Cal yesterday and today
I was wondering when I would hear there was a tornado, not surprised at all.

Although, isn't "tornado weather" very calm and quiet? Hmmm I'll have to adjust my assumptions.
