4. It doesn't make sense, does it?
The smirker will get by with his destruction of this country and fade away to Dallas. We'll spend the next 50 years cleaning up his mess. And Rove will still claim exec privilege. Some things just aren't right.

6. let me see how long it would take
give me some cloth, a little rope, a bench and a pail of water, that boy would be talking so fast as to be all but unintelligible.

His days are numbered

9. Once again he speaks the truth. He gets by with this by people saying "wtf?"
He usually speaks the truth, problem is either figuring out what he said, or how it is twisted, or believing anyone would say something so outrageous.

10. read it in this context...
Bush insisted he was not looking to his legacy. "I'm not running for the Nobel Peace Prize. I'm just trying to be a guy to use the influence of the United States to move the process along," he said.

But he added that "I hope that history will say that this is a guy who clearly saw the world the way it is. I can assure you that al-Qaida, Hamas and Hizbullah don't think about the comforts of life. They are driven. And the fundamental challenge facing this world is, well, countries like the United States, be prepared to continue to stay in the lead."

Concluding the conversation, the president observed, "I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office. But one of has got to be, he clearly saw the threat and he did something about it."

What he is saying is that it will be a long time before someone as smart as him gets into the white house and appreciates all the great work he has done. :puke:
