McCain's Campaign Manager's Connection To Olmert's "Suitcases & Envelopes Of Cash"

NYT: Interesting trail connecting McCain campaign to Russian aluminum oligarch banned from the US for alleged organized crime ties and the pro-Moscow side of Ukraine's Orange Revolution. Many layers here and at one level this is a story about vehicles for unregistered foreign lobbying in Washington, such as the expert consulting for investment houses and law firms provided by some prominent think tank hands. But some interesting links are not fully spelled out in this piece. The Israeli satellite company ImageSat that is reported here to have hired McCain campaign manager Rick Davis as a lobbyist counts among its investors and founding partners American financier, Morris Talansky, currently being investigated for bribing Israeli prime minister Olmert (how long 'til the FBI investigates Talansky et co? suitcases and envelopes of cash to foreign pols by American businessmen in alleged quid pro quo a crime here too, right?).
